Randsday is February 2nd, the birthday of Ayn Rand, the author of Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. Ayn Rand developed and defended Objectivism, a philosophy that advocates “rational selfishness.” To celebrate the 120th anniversary of her birth, the Ayn Rand Society for Individual Rights in Naples (ARSIRN) will hold a two-day weekend conference. This event will offer stimulating lectures, a respite from winter for snowbirds, and a chance for everyone to celebrate and honor Ayn Rand with friends old and new.

The event will begin on Friday evening, January 31, 2025. Talks will be presented Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2. The conference will formally conclude Sunday evening with a birthday anniversary dinner and personal tributes to Ayn Rand followed by a trivia contest hosted by Harry Binswanger. Speakers for the event include: Harry Binswanger, Yaron Brook, Ellen Kenner, Jean Moroney, Stephen Plafker, Peter Schwartz, Don Watkins, and Lin Zinser. Click here for information on the speakers.
